Where are clone golf clubs made?

THE STORE I USE:
Clone golf clubs from GigaGolf
Here are six reasons why.

(Excerpts from an interview with Pinemeadow Golf)

Previous: What's your relationship with the brands?

Guy Mount III: Whether it's a brand name company or a clone company, almost none of us truly manufactures anything today - we all design, contract out, source and then put together product.

We're sourcing material from all over the world. Different products come from different places. Different makers have products produced in different places. So a shaft maker could have shafts made in Mexico, in the States, in China...it's specific to the product.

Same with grips...some are made domestically, some overseas. It's fair to say that golf club componentry comes from all over the world.

Bryan O'Doherty: That's pretty much the case for all the manufacturers. It can be a multi-stage process. The heads can be cast onshore, offshore, in one country, finished in another country. The raw shaft can be rolled and made in China and brought to the US and painted.

Guy Mount III: A couple of years ago, for example, TaylorMade had a driver where their shaft was made in Japan, their head was cast in Mexico and their grip was made here in the US.
