Bryan O'Doherty: (apart from the reasons discussed here) We're also (and have been since 1985) a brick and mortar supplier to the OEM market, golf industry wholesale market, and sporting goods chains.
Our base is substantially greater than many of the people who get into selling online golf products. And the value proposition is distinctly different from the online golf retailers who are selling as a retail shop.
We're actually a custom-fit, 'direct from the manufacturers' solution, which is much more aligned with the philosophy of the Internet - that is to provide massive amounts of research data, information, statistics and the like to the customer, cut out the middle man channels of the traditional retail world and just provide value, value, value directly from those who are creating the value (the manufacturers) to the customer.
As long as the customer support end of it is as robust as ours is, then the customer's well-served on all fronts and it's a great experience.
