The game improvement irons are the GX920 HL — high launch — model. I wrote in detail about the GX920 earlier, since I bought a few a couple of months ago (the June coupon is a few weeks too late for me.) They’re the kind of iron you might go for if you’re still lacking the final touch of confidence needed to graduate to blades.
The HL version has a wider sole and lower center of gravity. So you get a helping hand in terms of getting the ball up and out of its lie.
