There’s a mini-sale going on over at the Pinemeadow Golf website right now (check the Monthly Deals link on the lefthand side of their homepage.) Seems it’s time for them to shift out some old models and make space for the new.
The biggest reduction is on the Z-On Oval Putter. The $19.95 price is half the usual. It combines a three-ball alignment system with a modern mallet design.
I’m a little confused by the putter’s description, though, since it claims weight is shifted to the center to improve stability. Normally, you’d want the weight spread round the edges for stability. Still, at that price you can afford to find out for yourself who’s right.
Excel titanium drivers and woods are $20 off at a new price of $79. The driver heads are smaller than average at 395cc, so you might want to spend the extra $20 and get the newer Excel Strong successor model with its 460cc.
Finally, there’s Pinemeadow’s own proprietary DoubleWall driver. At $299 it’s priced much higher than your typical clone driver. But it comes with a free fairway wood. If you like the sound of the DoubleWall’s unusually large sweetspot, it may be worth a closer look if you fancy a free club thrown in with the deal.
