In the days of online custom fitting, it’s a lot to ask of a gift-giver to buy you a new club or three. Not because of the price, but because they don’t know your swing speed, wrist to fingertip length and shaft preferences. These are the kind of things online retailers now ask so they can send you clubs best suited to your build and needs.
I discussed this problem with the clone retailer I use myself (GigaGolf). But it seems they have a solution. They’ll let you set up a wishlist, with preconfigured clubs that you “build.” Then the would-be gift giver just comes along and buys off your personal list.
The wishlist isn’t featured prominently, but you’ll find it at the bottom of their holiday gift page.
