All I want for Christmas is to correct my slice. If slice off the tee is a problem, then a new clone driver from Pinemeadow Golf might be the seasonal solution.
The Tour 780 Draw has the usual attributes of today’s modern driver: big 460cc clubhead, titanium face and body, branded shaft etc. It’s also a weighted club. Meaning it has some weight bias built into the clubhead. Why that?
Although the head is balanced to encourage more consistency in your hits, a smidgeon of extra weight in the heel of the club helps get the face round as you swing, so the natural tendency is for a draw shot: a gentle curve from right to left.
That draw bias is also a natural counteraction to a tendency to slice.
For those with a love of messing around with clubs, the Tour 780 Draw comes with a spanner and a smaller weight than the one already installed. So you can swap the weights and adjust how strong the draw bias is.
As a clone club, the big bonus is price of course. Weighted drivers from the big names can get up to $800 in price. This one is available from Pinemeadow Golf for $99.
